Pamela Boggess for Judge 372nd District Court
A career public servant, Pam is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Pam served as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for nearly 12 years then as a Tarrant County criminal magistrate judge. She has experience as a criminal defense attorney. She was named 2018 Prosecutor of the Year by the Texas Gang Investigators Association and subsequently honored by the United States Department of Justice. Pam is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and Texas Tech University School of Law. She tried over a hundred criminal cases including capital murder, sexual assault of children and adults, as well as violent crimes committed by gang members.
In the Criminal District Attorney’s Office, she trained and supervised both misdemeanor and felony attorneys. She was selected to coordinate officewide Continuing Legal Education for fellow Assistant Criminal District Attorneys. Pam teaches at annual conferences for local, state, national, and international police officers.
Pam, her husband Cory, and their four children are active in the Tarrant County community. Cory was born in Fort Worth and raised in Arlington, Texas.
Pam is a fellow with the Texas Bar Foundation, an active member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, and attends First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth. In addition to being a tireless Room Mom, she has served on the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra Board of Directors, the Site-Based Decision Making Committee for her local elementary school, the Oakhurst Neighborhood Association, and various other committees that enrich children in our community.
